Central Ohio - Move Up Buyers Tax Credit

The First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit was extended.

The bill passed the senate.

The bill  passed the house.

I recently  saw on Twitter that it has been signed by President Obama (don't believe everything you see on Twitter. )

It's the Home Buyer Tax Credit for the rest of you

Up to $6,500 for move up buyers. If you've lived in your home 5 of the past 8 years...

I'm looking for something like this chart:

First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit   The table in this February 2009 chart was produced by the National Associaton of Realtors

The First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit is extended until April 30, 2010.

Central Ohio Home Buyer Tax Credit for the rest of you - what would you call it?

Looking for Signs

Apr. 10, 2006
Categorized in: Columbus Real Estate

"This year's increase in sales has come at a cost - to sellers.

The average price of a single-family residence sold in Central Ohio has dropped to $161,149, a significant dip from the $170,177 average in February 2005. According to an article in Columbus Business first from information provided by the Columbus Board of REALTORS®  "The Columbus Board of Realtors president, said average prices are down because more-affordable houses are selling, with the $100,000 to $180,000 and $200,000 to $250,000 price ranges increasingly popular. "

What a great time to be a buyer!
