Nov. 7, 2005

October 2005 homes sold  in the Clintonville / Beechwold area of Columbus had an average sale price of  $192,763.  The average home in the area sold within 3.4% of their list price.

The highest priced selling home in October 2005 in  the Clintonville Beechwold area closed for  $392,500.  That house is in  the Glen Echo Historic District.

Where does Clintonville end and Beechwold begin?  That "locally favorite debate" is asked and answered on the Clintonville Portal website.  Anyone who knows Paul Bingle will recognize his writing in the Clintonville website.

The 44 properties sold in October 2005  include homes in neighborhoods in the MLS area that are not really Clintonville / Beechwold  but are close including

  • Salem Village
  • Chaseland
  • Chaseland Manor
  • Tremont Gardens
  • Graceland

The lowest selling price in the MLS area was $85,500, a small house in Tremont Gardens.

Average days on market for the 44 homes sold in the Clintonville / Beechwold (and beyond Salem Village, Chaseland, Tremont Gardens etc.) area was  82 days.
