Eileen, a Naperville Illinois REALTOR® and blogger who mentioned on her blog that a company is offering to sell home owners in her area certified copies of their deed at an inflated price The local county offers homeowners certified deeds for much less. Real estate is local..... I am not sure if Franklin County, Delaware County etc. sell certified copies of deeds and I forget why you would need a certified copy of your deed.
Eileen's Move Up to Naperville blog entry caught the eye of an attorney representing the company selling ceritified deeds. He wants to sue Eileen for slander. See the comments on Eileen's Move Up to Naperville Blog for the difference between libel and slander.... I can never keep those straight either.
Eileen was mentioned on Columbus Best Blog way back in February 2006 .....
