WCBE Radio 90.5 FM

This is not Columbus Trivia, but if you like Trivia listen to Columbus radio, WCBE radio 90.5 FM.

The answer was "Memphis."

I believe the question was:

What city was Arthur Lee from?

That the city that had to do with music, was a hint.   I had the radio on.  I was listening to WCBE  90.5  while I was working on my computer but I was not really aware I was listening until I was dialing the phone.  My trivia compulsion  kicked in.

At first I thought the question was Q. What city was Harper Lee from?

I think Harper Lee was from Little Rock Arkansas or Birmingham Alabama or Mississippi and I was trying to figure out which to guess...

The hint about the city having to do with music was also a hint to me that the two men (Jack? and the DJ?) on the radio were not talking about the writer of  'To Kill a Mocking Bird.'    So I said "Memphis."

The Byrds,  Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, etc. did not like 'The Monkees' according to 'Jack' , the guest on WCBE.

Now I am listening to this radio show.  Is Jack on one of the shows on WCBE on Sunday afternoon?  His voice is familiar to me.  The show on WCBE now is about the year 1966.  I think maybe they were talking about The Mothers of Invention while I was half listening....

I lovedThe Monkees in 1966!  I was a kid.   "I'm a Believer"  was the number one song of 1966 according to the fellas on WCBE Radio today.   I won two CD's..  I wonder who Arthur Lee was with? I wonder what two CD's I won?

Q. What year was Harley E. Rouda & Co. established and where was the first office?

A.  1956, His first office was located at his home in Upper Arlington.

Above was the first question  and answer for the internal HER Real Living 50th Anniversary trivia game! I got it right.

I have the company history on my MaureenMcCabe.com website.

I don't believe I knew that the company now called HER Real Living (and that is pronounced  H -  E - R  Real Living for those outside Central Ohio) was originally called " Harley E. Rouda & Co." but it makes sense.  The company was called HER REALTORS® when I joined in  the 1990's and I have trouble sometimes not still saying "HER REALTORS®

Happy 50th  Anniversary to HER Real Living , the best real estate company in Columbus.
