Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit.

I am tiring of this tradition.

Or this superstition.

It is good luck to say "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit" the first thing every month and so this blog has tried to say "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit" first thing each month.

The photo is a sculpture in Dublin's Ballantrae subdivision of three hares. It is a huge sculpture. Look at the bike at the bottom, that's some kids bike... those are big hares.

It is good luck to say "Rabbit,  Rabbit, Rabbit " the first moment of the first day of the month... so I say it via prewritten blog each month.  

"The March Hare will be much the most interesting, and perhaps as this is May it won't be raving mad -- at least not so mad as it was in March."

There was a neighborhood in Columbus called Wonderland.  It was near the airport.  I think you could still see a church from the freeway that said Wonderland until quite recently. 

The sculpture at the entrance to Ballantrae in Dublin Ohio are hares dancing not rabbits, but maybe that is splitting hairs.   

The Columbus Zoo is a great place to learn about animals... I am not sure whether they have dormouses (dormice? ) and hares though....I know they do not have dodos.   The illustration is the made hatter and the March Hair stuffing the Dormouse's head in a teapot. 

This is Mayday?  Dance around the maypole...   make a May Day basket.   Happy May Day!
