The Wandering Jay

This entry is not about Columbus real estate. Real estate is local. Jay Thompson real etate blogger from Arizona is attempting to set a world record today...leaving comments on blogs.

I misunderstood it when I left my official guess of how many comments he would leave throughout the day. I thought he would be leaving the comfort of Active Rain and going out and wandering the blogosphere, leaving comments as he made a mad dash from one real estate blog to the next. He's attempting the record in the climate controlled atmosphere of Active Rain....

Oh well he'll be easier to track this way.

I may have to reasses my guess of how many comments Jay can leave in 24 hours. I have until 10 AM to do so. 40 AM EST? 10 AM CST? 10 AM whatever time zone AZ is in... Active Rain is based in the PST zone but the servers are located in CST? It is MST...( I went back and reread.... for content this time...)

Jay's other blog, The Phoenix Real Estate Guy is on my blogroll. Reading the entry about the attempted record on that blog I understood.. to see all the comment you gotta be an Active Rain member....

Rereading the Active Rain blog....I still don't see where it says he will just be wandering Active Rain....

I believe until 10 AM MST which would be noon EST?

Thanks Maureen!

I'm doing in ALL on AR because that's the only place to keep track.

The betting window closes at 10:00 mountain time (11 central, noon eastern.)

Time zones are confusing here. We don't do daylight savings time. Sometimes were the same as CA, sometimes not. Now we're not.

Gotta run!!

Mitchell.. I guess you are right... Maybe that will be the next thing that Zillow can introduce... online betting on values? There's a money maker. Didn't someone do something in late 2004 early 2005 about trading real estate futures? Not exactly betting.

Jay get back to what you are doing!!! Focus, focus...of course it is the only way to keep track. I don't know what I was thinking...I placed my new bet a few minutes ago...My estimate. My guess.
