The Best Gourmet Burgers in Columbus

What's the best 'gourmet' burger in Central Ohio? The Columbus Dispatch Weekender is putting it to a vote.

The contenders... Although I have eaten at a bunch of thesese I have only had a burger at Gahanna Grill, Thurman Cafe, Max & Erma's and Red Robin, so I vote for Max & Ermas.

I have not tried the burgers at any place but Red Robin & I think they are great. I used to go for the Old Timer at Chili's but RR has them beat. If I ever get to Columbus I going to try Max & Ermas on your recommendation.

We had a Red Robin here, in the Crosswoods area that closed after a real short time. It was really very good the few times I was there. We have a new one up in the Polaris area and I have never been. It probably has been open for over a year now and I have never made it there... too many choices. Max & Erma's has great burger and they are based in Columbus so that is probably a big part of why I would vote for them.... I know there are Max & Ermas in other state too. Thanks for the comment. I had a burger at Thurman Cafe once but I don't remember it.... Thanks for the comment... someone must have won... I forgot to look...
