Getting around in Columbus and Central Ohio
Franklin County Engineer Dean C. Ringle made a presentation to The Greater Worthington Area REALTORS® Association Thursday about 'whats happening' in Central Ohio. Perched at the tippy top of Franklin County many Worthington REALTORS® are often concerned more with Delaware County road projects than some more distant Franklin County.
Ringle did a commendable job of presenting the region, Franklin County, Delaware County, Columbus and it's suburbs as well as ODOT. It sounds like Ringle and his Delaware County counterpart Chris E. Bauserman are in close contact. Ringle talked about a "summit." County engineers and their posses meeting up along with ODOT and other civic leaders concerned with Central Ohioans 'getting around'.
Ringle's presentation was filled with fly overs, tunnels and roundabouts in Central Ohio. Modern roundabouts, Dublin has three now. Other Central Ohio suburbs and Columbus will have to scramble to keep up. Franklin County Engineer's Keeping You in the Loop: Modern Roundabout Q&A is good reading for inquiring minds.
