I thought it was the Buckeye Blogs at first... sports blogs that were worth bucks... Columbus food blogs seem to be worth bucks too....

I have mine displayed in the right column.... It is lower than these... Originally the URL's RealTown Blogs (this is a RealTown Blog...) used we got values of $0... of course we could not claim our blogs on Technorati either... back then...

There is another measure my friend Bonnie of Real Eststate Snippets used that rated my blog worth less than $50. Boo!!!

I owned the domain name "buckeyesportsblitz.com" for a year and had an OSU sports blog called Buckeye Sports Blitz during that time. In May, I wanted to change the name to to something less confusing since there was a web site BuckeyeSports.com, and WBNS 10TV has a segment called Buckeye Blitz. So I purchased a new domain name and changing the title to my blog to "Buckeye Banter." @ buckeyebanter.com. But when I bought the new domain name, I did not renew the old one. Then someone snatched it up right after I did so. "Buckeye Sports Blitz" has nothing original on any of it's pages. It's just pages with various links that when you click on them, they make money for the guy in California who owns the site. Now, as for Buckeye Banter, I have tons or original material that I have wrote myself. Plus there is all kinds of RSS feeds on Ohio State sports, as well as Columbus news and weather. How much a blog is worth is based solely on how many other blogs link back. It has absolutely nothing to do with content, or how well constructed or how well written a blog is. So far I have been a guest on several radio talk shows, including The Wags & Elliott Show on QFM96, even The Columbus Dispatch links to my site in their BuckeyeXtra section. I think I would be included on any list of the "Best Blogs of Columbus." Matt Barker

And..... Your blog, buckeyebanter.com/, is worth $13,548.96 Matt! Thanks for the heads up Matt... I can't tell a Calfornia blog masquerading as a Buckeye Blog! I added Matt's blog to my blogroll earlier today. Maureen
