Happy September 1st... It is good luck to say "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit" the first thing every month. This is the last Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit post for Discover Columbus. I have decided to stop posting to this blog.
Aug. 26, 2008 - This blog is three years old today
Happy Birthday Discover Columbus
August 27, 2005 - Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on the 26th? 28th? of 2005. I was online paying attention to what was happening and NOT happening on the Gulf Coast so I started fooling with a blogging platform. I would set stuff up, check the Katrina news, set stuff up, check the news about Katrina... I never mentioned Katrina..I do not believe, it's a blog about Columbus Ohio, thousands of miles away. August 27, 2005 - A blog called "Columbus Best Blog" was born on the RealTown blogging platform...
Twice I gave away this poor blog's name...
I changed this blogs name to Discover Columbus in January 2007 when I started ColumbusBestBlog.com on WordPress.org I never bought the url for "Discover Columbus" and someone sucked up the url.
Recently when I started an "Outside Blog on ActiveRain" I named my new ActiveRain "Outside" blog DiscoverColumbusOH.com
Discover Columbus is virtually abandoned. It has had one post in August 2008... one in July too. Not much more in June. It still gets a lot of traffic. It's got a lot of content. Happy third birthday whatever your name is...

It is good luck to say "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit" first thing each month. So Discover Columbus does... this is the latest Discover Columbus has said "Rabbit Rabbit, Rabbit" in a long time....
Somethings missing.... somethings missing something missing... my pre arranged blurb at the bottom of each post...
nope somethings are missing. No way to change the font style so this is not in my usual font....
It is good luck to say "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit" the first thing each month. Discover Columbus tries to say "Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit." before saying anything else each month.
I never knew the Mason Dixon line was in between PA and MD and that it was a survey issue. Or if I did know I have forgotten.
I found "Southern Fried Rabbit" (Bugs Bunny video ) doing a little research about "sweet tea" - e sources mentioned the Mason Dixon line.... being a line for Sweet Tea consumption as well.... we are north of the Mason Dixon line... all of Ohio is. Discover Columbus Tea poll
Bugs Bunny could be crossing the line from Ohio into West VA or KY but then he would have to have been crossing the Ohio river...
I'd love to hear from you if you have a comment on the topic (whatever it is...) All comments are moderated so you will not see your comment immediately. Thanks. Copyright 2008 Discover Columbus and Maureen McCabe
Discover Columbus is a site about Columbus Ohio.
Originally named "Columbus Best Blog," it was never the best blog in Columbus Ohio. It was a blog about the best in Columbus and Central Ohio! Best restaurants, best real estate company, best schools, best neighborhoods..... written by Maureen McCabe a licensed real estate agent with Columbus Ohio's best real estate company, Real Living HER.
Discover Columbus is just a site about Central Ohio.
