Jan. 13, 2008 - "Best Mexican Restaurant in Ohio"
A coupon says La Fogata is the best Mexican Restaurant in Ohio according to Country Living Magazine.
La Fogata's title says it's "autentico" but it is a chain. I knew I had seen an ad locally. There's a La Fogata in Pickerington, outside my usual stomping grounds...
There's a new La Fogata now in the Worthington / Polaris area... off Worthington-Galena Road, north of 270. It is in the old La Costa restaurant site at 1175 Worthington Woods Blvd. Just east of the Crosswoods area.
Tough area wedged between Polaris and Crosswoods. 1178 Worthington Woods Blvd. was an Italian restaurant before it was La Costa, owned by the same people as Michael Dominics in Worthington... and I think the space was a different Italian Place before that... or maybe a pizza place?

Seriously? Listing 3 El Vaqueros? That is horrible. And Baja Fress or Don Pablos??? Could you get any further from authentic Mexican food?
Mexican food here is a sad freaking joke.
La Fogata is a chain... let me repeat it for the Katie's La Fogata is a chain. It says it's authentic.. says it in Spanish.
I will try La Fogata.
I am going to have to put a breathlyzer on the Mexican Food Poll to keep "Katies" off the poll....
