It is good luck to say that the first thing each month. I almost said "August 2007 - Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!" in the title, that would never do.

Superstitious? Me?

The image is the sculpture of hares at the Ballantrae neighborhoods in Dublin.

The Dublin Irish Festival is this weekend. Plenty of good luck there to go around.

It's the 154th Annual Ohio State Fair.

The fair runs from August 1 to the 12th in Columbus at the State Fair Grounds.

It's the 20th annual Dublin Irish Festival, this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 3-5, 2007.

I saw online that is is the largest Irish festival in the US now. I know it was not the largest a few years back.
