Dec. 31, 2007 - Worthington Area - 2007 home sales

There were 404 single family home sales closed in Worthington area (Worthington School district but not located in the city of Worthington or Riverlea ) in 2007.  These homes are in the city of Columbus or Perry or Sharon Township.  These homes are all in the Worthington School District.  The Worthington School District extends to the northern tip of Franklin County along routes 315 and state route 23 (High Street) and east to Interstate 71.   West of the Olentangy River, the school boundaries are more irregular.

2007 Worthington Area Single Family Home Sales:


List Prices ranged from $59,300 (really! a house in Mt. Air) to $675,000.

Closed Sales Prices ranged from $54,000  to $655,000.


The average closed real estate sales price for single family homes in $217,881.


On average, these homes sold for 97 % of their final list price.


Days on Market ranged from 1 to 632 days, with the average being 93 *days of market time.


This compares to 460 single family homes closed in 2006, with an average closed sales price of $229,469.

And

This compares to 546 single family homes closed in 2005, with an average closed sales price of $220,487.


The homes sold in 2007 were in neighborhoods in the city of Columbus and Perry and Sharon Townships including Worthington Hills, Maple Hill Retreat, Stilson Highlands, Bluffview, Olentangy Highlands, Olde Sawmille, Brookside Estates, Worthingtview,  Brookside Village, Worthington Highlands, Worthington Trace, Westworth Village, The Sanctuary, Lindsey Woods, Woods at the Joesphinum, Ravens Glen and others.

Dec. 31, 2007 - Powell - 2007 Home Sales

There were 153 single family home sales closed in Powell in 2007.  Powell is a suburb of Columbus in southern Delaware County.  

2007 Powell Single Family Home Sales:

List Prices ranged from $85,900 (yes!) to $695,850.

Closed Sales Prices ranged from $79,900 to $675,000.


The average closed real estate sales price for single family homes in Powell was $371,983


On average, these homes sold for 96.9% of their final list price. 
 

Days on Market ranged from 1 to 712  days, with the average being 125* days of market time.


Average Sales Price per square foot was $ 122.24



This compares to 177 single family homes closed in 2006, with an average closed sales price of $365,794.

AND

This compares to 183 single family homes closed in 2005, with an average closed sales price of $356,280. 

The 2007 homes sales in Powell were in neighborhoods including:

Golf Village Estates, Chambers Glen, Deer Run, Golf Village, Rutherford Estates, Woods of Sawmill, Liberty Hills, Falcon Ridge, Grandshire, Olentangy Ridge, Lakes of Powell, Murphy's Park and Old Powell

Dec. 31, 2007 - Worthington - 2007 Home Sales

There were 217 single family home sales closed in the City of Worthington (and Riverlea) in 2007. 

Worthington and Riverleal are suburbs of Columbus inside of 270.    Riverlea which is on the Olentangy River is surrounded by Worthington on the other three sides.  The MLS (the multiple listing service of the Columbus Board of Realtors) combines the City of Worthington and Riverlea into one MLS area.

2007 Single Family Home Sales in Worthington:

List Prices ranged from $117,500  to  $899,900.
Closed Sales Prices ranged from $120,000  to  $885,000.

The average closed real estate sales price for single family homes in $263,499.


On average, these homes sold for 96.3 % of their final list price.  
 
Average Sale Price / SqFt = $ 133.69

Days on Market ranged from 1 to 423  days, with the average being 84 days of market time.


This compares to 192 single family homes closed in 2006, with an average closed sales price of $245,899.

AND

This compares to 214  single family homes closed in 2005, with an average closed sales price of $239,085.
 
The homes sold in 2007 in the City of Wortington (and Riverlea)  included homes in neighborhoods including:  Medick Estates, Estates at Olentangy, Medick Estates, Old Worthington , Bristol Woods, Plesenton  Place,  Old Worthington, Olentangy Hills, Worthingway, Worthington Estates, Shaker Square, Colonial Hills, Wilson Hills and other neighbrohoods.
