For approximately two decades HER REALTORS® published cookbooks.  Inside the front cover of the 17th edition company founder Harley E. Rouda Sr. wrote:  "For close to two decades, the HER Cookbooks have been a celebration of our community. They showcase central Ohio's best recipes from the kitchens of our clients, families and friends. "

Sep. 28, 2005 - Best Dressed Carpe Denim

On October 7, 2005  the "BEST DRESSED" agents and staff at HER Real Living's Worthington Office will be wearing jeans and a  pink ribbon. 

 

Participants will be contributing to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.   It's Lee Denim Day's 10th Anniversary 

 

Lee National Denim Day has  set a goal of raising $10 million for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in that single day.  It's the second year that HER Real Living's Worthington Office has participted in Lee Denim Day.

Sep. 27, 2005 - Best Place for Sausage This Weekend Depends...

The best place in Columbus for sausage this weekend depends on whether you want a brat or an Italian sausage. 

 

September 30th, October 1st and 2nd, 2005 is the  26th annual Columbus Italian Festival, presented by Saint John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church.  The Columbus Italian Festival celebrates Italian-American culture (and food.)  Admission is only $5.00

 

There will be live entertainment including the second annual American-Italian Idol competition!  There are also open-air markets, Italian dancing, children's area and plenty of fabulous foods including: . 


Wedding soup, meatball subs, chicken parmesan,  pizza, subs, panzeroti, calzones, Italian sausage,  rotisserie chicken,  stromboli rolls, Italian coffees, Italian ices, pastries,  cookies,  desserts, calamari, veal parmesan,  Italian breads and rolls, pasta e fagioli,  stuffed pasta,  funnel cakes, elephant ears, candy apples, etc.

If German is more your style visit the German Village Oktoberfest

$5 in advance (a 38% savings!)

Or if you can't decide whether to go German or Italian this weekend purchase a "Passport ticket"  good for The Columbus Italian Festival and the Oktoberfest for $10,  valid for the weekend at both festivals. You can purchase your passport from the
