Were there couch fires near the OSU campus?
Were there dumpster fires in Columbus overnight?
Did you read Forbes 10 Smartest Cities List that came out yesterday? Hint Columbus is not on it but Ann Arbor Michigan is....

U of M cyber gremlins? Dissing the Forbes.com ads.... Thanks to Ann Cumming's in New Hampshire (too small to make the list... Portsmouth New Hampshire, not Ann) for mentioning the Forbes.com list on her blog. Maybe her links aren't awry.
Maybe next year our areas will make the list!! I'll have to hope for the smaller-er cities list, since we're too small to make the smaller cities list!
Ann: Columbus is big and brawny ... but you can't make every list. I think Columbus is pretty bright too, we have Battele, Chemical Abstracts, OCLC, OSU, etc. Lots of smart people... and the best football team in the country. Thanks for the comment. Maureen

Maureen, although Miami did not make the list - I am happy San Francisco made it to #5 - It's one of my favority cities. Ann and You must have had your thoughts aligned with the similar posts.
Ines... I found it from Ann's blog (so at the very bottom I have linked to her)... I have been very bad about blogging here for the past couple of weeks so I jumped on... Ann Arbor smart! I have not been to San Francisco in years, but I like San Francisco. I am glad Cambridge is on the list too... Maureen
