Using Google's Blog Search and Technorati, I did not have much luck finding real estate blogs in Columbus Georgia, Columbus Indiana or Columbus Montana or any Columbus for that matter... The 500 Real Estate Blogs list that was posted on Pittsburgh Homes Daily blog last week has four Columbus real estate blogs... including mine and one in Columbus Indiana that's not been updated in a while.
Columbus 'Active Rain' Blogs... Columbus Montanna looks like a gorgeous area.... Columbus Georgia, Wayne just joined last week... no blog yet could be an interesting to watch.....There is no one on Active Rain from Columbus Indiana yet... the rest of the Columbuses?
An article in Saturday's Dispatch gave more details about the wreath laying ceremcny in Columbus Ohio this morning. I assumed when I first read about it that those celebrating Columbus Day in Columbus and those opposed to celebrating Columbus Day had made peace. That may not be the case.
'Italian group seeks to mend fences on Columbus Day'
Matt Tullis of The Columbus Dispatch wrote in part:
"American Indian leader is to speak at holiday ceremony
Columbus Day has always been somewhat contentious in the largest American city named for the explorer.
Depending on whom you ask, Christopher Columbus either discovered the New World and made America possible, or slaughtered American Indians and ushered in slavery in the new land.
While neither side is close to changing its beliefs, the Piave Club, an Italian-American organization, is extending an olive branch, according to its spokesman, Joseph Contino.
The group will host a wreathlaying ceremony at the foot of the Columbus statue at City Hall on Monday, and it has invited Mark Welsh, director of the Native American Indian Center of Central Ohio, to speak. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. "
