Read about Landscaping on a budget in my April 2007 newsletter on my MaureenMcCabe.com website:
"Do it yourself - Get your hands dirty! It will save the cost of hiring a professional and you can take pride in your work. You can also hire neighborhood kids to shovel or lay sod — they are probably in need of extra cash and it will be easy on your wallet."
well maybe the kids need to be a little bit older than these kids in the photo....
In the weekly column 'Real estate notebook' in This Week Newspapers last week, Bill Evans the president of Real Living HER wrote:
"Ask a qualified, professional real estate agent about ways to make your home more green, but for starters, here are some simple solutions that can make a big impact." ........in his real estate column entitled "Go green: Make your home eco-friendly"
Eeeeeek! Am I qualified to give green advice? I think of this as my blue blog because of the color scheme...I think of my Columbus Best Blog as my red blog (I never thought of it being blue and red as in political) but I am going to try to make both a little bit green this week in honor of Earth Day at the end of this week....
Compost!

Thanks for the comment Michelle. I had never heard of the designation that some REALTORS® have (and can't tell you what the designation is ... ) until running into Active Rain members like Dena in Colorado, JaneAnn N. (?) in North Carolina...
I am not as concious about ecology as I should be.
