• Dec. 28, 2007 - KC Sales-November Stats

I'm back...after a long and lazy hiatus.  New Year's resolution--to blog frequently!

Some November sales stats for the Kansas City area:

In Jackson County, pending contracts down just over 10% from a year ago. Average sales price up 6.32%, unsold inventory up 7.88%.  In Johnson County, pending contracts down almost 17%, average sales price up 3.38% and unsold inventory up 2.55%.

My prediction is that 2008 will be a marginally better year.  Sales will pick up after the first of the year as sellers wait for the warmer weather to show off their homes and buyers get more serious about buying as spring approaches.  If you plan to sell, NOW is the time to get your house ready to show.  No matter what the  market, homes that are priced right and look appealing sell the quickest.

I'm working on a personal website..it's not quite finished, but if you want a sneak peek, go to
