Honoring Our Veterans

Branson has long been a destination for America’s veterans. Veterans are honored here every day, year-round.

Thousand of folks line the downtown sidewalks every November for the Annual Veterans Day Parade. It has always been sponsored by American Legion Post 220. Would you believe that this year will be the 75th year?! It is one of the best-attended Veterans Day events in the nation.

At the music shows, veterans have always been asked to stand and be recognized. It has always been heartwarming to see veterans standing to applause and recognition, and it always brings moisture to my eyes that I cannot deny.

Branson and Missouri believe in our country, our veterans and family values. It is one of the joys and pleasures of living in the Ozarks!
