Each year during Thanksgiving week, several local faith communities join together to give thanks and welcome the entire community to join them at an interfaith service.  The loacation rotates from one house of worship to another annually. This year it will be Tuesday, Nov. 24th at 7:30 pm at Congregation Shir Hadash (located at 20 Cherry Blossom Lane, Los Gatos - just off Shannon Road). 

Donations of food and funds will be collected for charitable organizations.  A reception will follow the service.  All are welcome!

The 2008 annual Los Gatos Interfaith Thanksgiving Service is this Tuesday, November 25th, from 7:30 to 8:30pm. All are welcome!  Each year, the service is held at a different house of worship. In recent years the venues were at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and at Temple Shir Hadash.

This year it is held at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located at 219 Bean Avenue (at corner of Tait in the downtown Almond Grove area). 

Those attending the service are encouraged to bring canned food to donate to Second Harvest food bank. There will be a monetary collection for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation. A reception will be held afterwards in Hoffman Hall.

On parking - a quick reminder that it's best to park in the school or church lot as most of the Almond Grove district has permit parking only in the evenings.
