North Carolina Near the Top of the List |
The census Bureau has been tabulating away and the results for the fiscal year end July 2007 were finally released December 20, 2007. The result? North Carolina is found to be one of the top growth states in all the nation, number 6 to be exact.
The states population grew by more than 190,000 people over 2006 bringing the state's total population to 9,061,032 people. This was a 2.2% increase over the previous year.
Consider this along with the small drop of 1.34% in North Carolina foreclosed properies as reported by RealtyTrac in November 2007, the 2+% increase in sales prices for the Greensboro/High Point market, this seems to be a positive indicator the the North Carolina Real Estate market is recovering. The experts still say the true indicator will be seen in early 2008. I'll keep you posted.
