I hope the person who made a recent eloquent statement about Real Estate.com
referrals will send me a copy. I neglected to save it and need it to help
support my contention that I should be let out of that contract without
paying $499 termination fee. Cost went up without my agreement and results
have been really bad - many already had agents, often phones and/or e-mails
were not correct, and the few that were real were usually not qualified
buyers or had really unrealistic expectations. Whoever made that post
negotiated more successfully than I've been able to and I'd appreciate his
help. Any others who want to comment?

re: RealEstate com referrals - Oct. 16, 2006 |

| I am in the same situation, they overcharged me and I wanted to get out, because of the poor lead quality, but it is very hard. Leads were very bad, I had a 10 year old who wanted to sell her house for 1 mil; I had an agent from another area who wanted to sell a Florida listing, not being the owner, of course. I had people finally answering the phone and hanging up when they heard there is a realtor on line. I had people submitting twice a request and when finally I was able to reach them, they were yelling that they were not interested.
I called the credit card company to stop payments, but RealEstate.com still owes me $300 from the overcharges and they want me to pay termination fee.
I made a mistake, I send in a cancellation email to everybody so they won’t bill me another month. They now readjusted the amount and the recent bill is back to 199.
I spoke tonight to a manager; she just told me that they did not increase the price!!!
Any advice is greatly appreciated. |
