New Yellow Pages Offer - Sep. 10, 2006

I have been contacted by phone, and now spammed by a representative from LocalRealEstateYellowPages.com .  They say that their website is ranked #1 on Google,MSN, etc... but it's due to their PAY PER CLICK AVERTISING! They are not #1 at all.  And you must search for "local realtor in " or "find a realtor in

How many people actually use those search terms?

Actually what they say is that when people search "find a local realtor" Who does that? Wouldn't they more likely say 'any city realtor' or 'any city real estate'  not, "find a local realtor" and yes they are #1 due to PPC ads. Actually I just tested it and they are nowhere to be found .. So either a) their budget ran out for their campaign in my area, or b) they run it only certain days/times which is a new feature with google.

I have great success with google ppc, but I'd much rather pay for a much more relevant search term. I really do think people would rather go to a local realtor site than a generic "yellow pages" site, and I'm surprised that yellow pages isnt' a trademarked term anyway.
