A recent posting by Greg Cox asked his fellow epros for their personal experience with pay per click services. I personally am very happy with both Yahoo (formerly overture.com) and Google Adwords.
Between the two, I spend about $ 125 per month and I budget myself so each click through costs me around 25 cents. I firmly can say that I have gotten not only prospects from the use of these pay per click companies but have closed many transactions too.
Just today, a potential buyer called me from distant Suffolk county asking about a listing in Great Neck (Nassau County) even though my principal business sphere of influence is Queens County, NYC.
That potential buyer had to first see one of my ads via yahoo or google, then after visiting my website, use the free multiple listing search facilities on this site, find a Multiple Listing Number and my cell phone and he called me while I was on the golf course this afternoon. I don't advertise in newspapers.
The only way he found me was via some pay per click ad.
