Any advice on using Lending Tree? - Oct. 4, 2006

Group,

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I don't recall any specifics.
Would appreciate knowing your experiences with Lending Tree lead generation.

When Lending Tree bought Service Magic the trashed the product. Last year when they were Service Magic I spent about $6000 and got a return of over 80K. Those days are long gone.

I agree. I joined about 3 years ago and results were as they said - about 10% return. I have gotten nothing in the last year.

It is garbage I joined and paid and paid and paid and all the leads I got were no good. I called them and informed them I would not pay any more because they did not uphold there end of our agreement. They sent me a collection letter so I had my lawyer contact them and matter resolved. Long story short RUN! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

I think as a rookie agent with some cash to invest in my business if I had knew about Lending Tree two years ago I would of been on board.  But now i have 2 years experience hunting leads and working with clients and know it's better much better to generate your own leads.  Thru your neighbor or thru PPC any way except paying online lead generating companies to get them for you.  WE just keep them in business and cost all of us more to get the leads we can generate for ourselves.
