More Info On House.com - Jul. 15, 2006

Does anyone have any experience using house.com for leads?  Any other lead generating service you might recommend?  I used Agent Connect and was not very happy with them.

I was with house.com and it took disputing with my Discover Card to finally get out of it - the leads were so bogus.

So, now we are with realestate.com (we just moved into this area - I figured we needed a boost) we are hooked in for 1 year - we are supposed to get 10 leads/mo - we are in our first month and it's not going much better than house.com except you can call and ask for a replacement if bogus - they do have a better filter system.

I wish there was a lead company that you can pay when the deal closes!!!

I too have used house.com and received many bogus leads. I even got a lead from them of an agent in my office that was just surfing them. They do not check the leads before they send them to you and if you get a bad lead which is 99% of the time they don't replace it. It's up to you to prove the lead was bad, the last lead I got I was able to contact the person and she told me that she was frustrated with house.com because all she was doing was checking to see what her house was worth, not selling it.  Next thing you know it I got the lead as a seller. There is no magic out there and we are making a lot of companies rich with our effort to find the magic lead generator.

House.com Complaint Blog - Nov. 16, 2007

I used house.com and it was a nightmare experience.  They actually threatened to send me to collections!  I started a blog about it and collected other online complaints about the company:  www.housedotcomhater.wordpress.com

We are trying to organize.  If you want to be added to the list to be sent to the North Carolina Attorney General's Office, please email me your contact info at housedotcomhater@live.com
