Good Success with Homes.com - Aug. 16, 2006

What experience, if any does anyone have with www.Homes.com. I was encouraged to go to www.marketleap.com and look at the statistics comparing homes.com to realtor.com. They then encouraged me to affiliate with them.

Been with homes.com for about 2 years. They got ups and downs like anyone else. They do have good MLS IDX linkage, great templates and on board programmers to help with your page. (see www.vinceholton.com) ....

On the other hand, they, like any one else, always trying to sell you something - new pages, new links, new programs, but they are up front and good about it. They don't drive you up a wall if you say no. Very helpful when you have problems. I have webs with both homes.com and p2 and actually get more hits from the homes.com site but in all fairness, I still working on the p2 site.

Homes.com also has pay per click contracts with Google and Yahoo so you can get in for around $300/month with homes as compared to $buku bucks with just going to Yahoo or google on your own. Sort of a bulk buy deal I think.

Hope this helps.

More Info On House.com - Jul. 15, 2006

Does anyone have any experience using house.com for leads?  Any other lead generating service you might recommend?  I used Agent Connect and was not very happy with them.

I was with house.com and it took disputing with my Discover Card to finally get out of it - the leads were so bogus.

So, now we are with realestate.com (we just moved into this area - I figured we needed a boost) we are hooked in for 1 year - we are supposed to get 10 leads/mo - we are in our first month and it's not going much better than house.com except you can call and ask for a replacement if bogus - they do have a better filter system.

I wish there was a lead company that you can pay when the deal closes!!!
