Who is HomesDiscovered.com? - Sep. 17, 2006

Has anyone in the RealTalk community worked with HomesDiscovered.com?? If you have, I would like to know your experience.

Just like any other lead generating company, they charge you per lead. Though they say they qualify these leads, I was not impressed with my local area site and couldn't even see any major call to action so very suspicious of the numbers they promote as "leads" in my area.  I refuse to support these types of companies anyway, so I'm jaded... But I cant' tell you how many times their rep called me just saying "Hi, I'm so and so from Damon Pace's Remax office in Phoenix Arizona, we have a buyer lead we'd like to discuss with you."  So it is major bait and switch.. They didn't have any buyers, they just have Damon Pace's new system of lead generation (his income generation).

I am the owner of Homes Discovered. I don't believe Catherine Myers has ever recieved a lead from our system so I don't know how she can make a qualified statement about our leads.

From my point of view, I am attempting to build a better lead generation model that answers all the problems agents have with leads. I've made it my mission over the past 5 years to build a system that helps agents build a business around what I do for them. All of our agents are trained to understand how our leads are generated, what the lead expects and how to meet or exceed thos expectations.

Our system is built to make everyone money, not just Homes Discovered. Our prices are far lower than the industry standards and we refuse to sell our leads multiple times like the rest of the Lead Generation crowd.

This is a system built by an agent for agents and our sincere goal is to make sure every agent who follows our system will be successful with the Internet.

All the best,
Damon Pace

They have a link exchange page on each of their individual city websites.  I spent 7 hours setting up reciprical links for all of these sites and my link never showed up on any of these sites.

I talked to Damon Pace, owner of Homes Discovered, who said he would look into it.  He never did, and then would not return my calls.  Based on how he treated me with the link exchange issue, I recommend that nobody works with Homes Discovered.

Epagelisting has anyone worked with them - Aug. 14, 2008

Posted by Flora Johnson

Has anyone worked with Epagelisting?  I signed up and was told their leads are qualified and that they contact them to let the leads know you will be contacting them. Or should I say, if you have a web site they will tell the people to go to your web site to introduce you to them.  I don't currently have a web site so they said they will tell these leads that I will be calling.  The leads I have recieved so far have been old and moldy.  Most have already purchased homes, or changed their minds at least two months previously.  I feel like I am being sent the same leads they send everyone who signs up in my "exclusive area".  I was told that I had a money back guarantee.  That they will replace the leads that are not good.  They have replaced them with more old and moldies. None of these leads have been contacted by their company.  When I called them to tell them that none of these leads have been 'Qualified" as I was told they would be I was told that they have replaced those I turned in and that it wasn't the person I was talking to responsibilty.  Although she did tell me she was one of the administrators of the company.  I looked them up on the BBB and found that they have a poor rating and have 6 complaints since the end of April '08.  Suposedly they have only been working with realtors leads since about march '08.  I'm afraid that after my 30 day "free" trial that I had to pay up front $391 dollars I won't get my money back.  I see that these leads at this point are not fresh.  I understand the numbers game, but give me some fresh leads to play the game with, not ones that have been on the shelf for 2,3,6 months plus. Any others who have had experience with Epagelisting and their leads please let me know. I wonder if it is just me having problems with this company or if someone else has had issues also. Thanks Flora Johnson yourrealtor.floraj@comcast.net

First, Virginia, you do sound jaded and I am afraid maybe burnt out? I do not say this to be mean, but understand they are a lead generating company...some leads (many?) are not good. But leads you get on your own are the same aren't they?

It is a numbers game. Play to win! Positive attitudes reap positive results!!!

As for Tom Wolf's comments. I have had nothing but a wonderful developing relationship with these people. Absolutely no pressure. ALways responding in a timely manner. Excellent BBB reporting.  They are relatively new but they were created by Realotrs, this is HUGE.  Most of these other lead generators are driven by computer geeks....just my opinion

I have worked with 4 different lead companies.  Honestly, HomesDiscovered had the best quaified leads.  There is no company out there that is going to create magic but HomesDiscovered was the best lead company out of 4 big lead generation companies that I have worked with in the past year.

Fraudulent Lead company - Apr. 30, 2009

Posted by Patty Ahrens

Epagelisting is definately the biggest scam around. I also recieved the e-mail from Julie Sugar and ended up talking with Anita who signed me up for three months at $1,455.00 . 99% of the leads had already bought and the other one persent don't remember signing up maybe just wanted the mortgage calculator. When it was time to cancel I didin't realize that you had to do it 7 days before your due to end. After canceling I called Anita and told her how unhappy I was with the services and she said you still have 100 clients coming to you  and I wouldn't be charged anymore; and that she would call and be in touch with me every week. In Febuary I noticed that not only did they charge me for another 3 months but did it twicw whithin a three day period they had carged my account $1,455.00 twice!! I disputed it with my credit card company and they disputted back and never once in all of my phoine calls called me back. I've sent in a R.E. fraud report with the district attorneys office and also  with comsumers affairs We need to get these scam artists away from us honest people who are just trying to make an honest living!! It looks like Craig is on a campaign to defame Mr. Pace.  I haven't used the service but I'm researching it and have found nothing to support Craig's claim of fraud but he has posted this same comment on other sites.

Craig, if you're going to slander all over the internet about someone, at least have a story and some facts to support your claim.  I use facts to make my decisions.

I have not as yet worked with them but have had lengthy conversations with Tom Wolf.  I find himm to be very well mannered and understanding.  I have NEVER felt any pressure what so ever to participate in his program....

As to the individual who did indeed slander another person on here..you sir are totally out of line. If you are a Realtor, you really need to get out of the business or take one hell of a long vacation because you are burnt out..

Like it was mentioned before, it is a numbers game...get it? Some are good some are not...you are a SALESPERSON..stop whinning and start selling or go and work at Walmart

RE: Who is HomesDiscovered.com? Fraud Damon Pace - Aug. 25, 2009

Incredibleagents.com is a fraudulent, misleading and unprofessional company! Currently an investigation by the FBI is underway looking into the smear and extortion campaigns of realtors around the country. Damon Pace and Tom Wolf of Incredibleagents.com are being investigated by the FBI for extortion and illegal internet activities.

This pay for protection scam or cost realtors thousands of dollars in commissions each year, do to the scam Pace and Wolf have devised. Although freedom of speech is protected. The scam involves negative reviews and postings supposedly posted by unhappy consumers. Many realtors have reported never doing business with any of the parties or consumers leaving negative reviews at the site. When asked to remove the negative information Tom Wolf has stated you have to pay! The scam is a pay for protection under the guise of “reputation management”. Once sucked in realtors are forced to pay a monthly fee to protect their reputation. Many realtors who have never even sold one property often end up with numerous bogus complaints proving the complaints are generated by the company. When complaints are finally picked up on by the unsuspecting agent or broker its time to pay to play the reputation management scam game.

Damon Pace and Tom Wolf are so brazen and feel they are above the law that they even have stated to disgruntled agents and brokerages that they posted the reviews themselves, and there is nothing they can do accept pay them to have the bogus reviews removed.

Many realtors have had legitimate clients post positive reviews only to find them later removed. Unless you give in to the pay for protection scam. The scam works do to the laws that currently protect scammers like Damon Pace and Tom Wolf. When threatened with legal action they just laugh as Wolf stated in a resent conversation with a client “ we are untouchable above the law and lawsuit proof we are a holding company” “We are above the law”

In a recent article this agent expresses their disgust with Damon Pace

Complaint Rating:

When I inquired about there services, the account representative indicated that I needed to sign up and pay a monthly fee otherwise they would publish negative and false information about my firm. He admitted to deleting files that are positive and have a team of reviewers that just make false and misleading comments about agents in order for people to get them to sign up. They were totally rude and totally fraudulent. I asked to speak to Senior Management and they cussed me out! Talk about a negative experience! This company preys on agents by using threatening techniques in using their services or black mailing them by posting frivolous postings on-line that are "Not confirmed". Agents/Brokers, be very careful about this company and fight back. Don't give in!

Hello,

My name is Tom Wolf.  Although I do not represent the website www.incredibleagents.com and have not for several years, I saw my name here in reference to the company that I do run, www.HomesDiscovered.com, which is under the same parent company but completely unaffiliated in any way.  Although I have no involvement with the operation of www.incredibleagents.com, I am aware from past experience what processes, policies, and procedures are used to manage the site.

The public is permitted to leave anonymous reviews on agents and brokers though this website.  In no way does the website operator modify or add reviews on their own.  Although anonymous users can post whatever they choose on the site, they are tracked and are ultimately liable if they post any information that would be found by a court to be libel.

Unfortunately it appears that "Bob Jones" and Matt Soto have had a negative experience with the company.  I completely respect their right to express their opinion of that website, however they have unfortunately crossed a very important line by stating several facts about www.incredibleagents.com and myself that are both damaging and completely fabricated  This is the definition of libel, and unfortunately these two individuals are liable for what they have now posted.

I would go point by point in refuting Bob Jones' post, however I have found every single fact that he stated in his post to be completely fabricated.  IncredibleAgents has not charged agents or brokers for several years now.  Agents and brokers have full access to their profiles and unlimited access to respond to reviews.  There is zero financial incentive whatsoever for www.incredibleagents.com to post anything on their own.

The supposed phone conversations that are referenced are also fabrications, along with any FBI investigations and other fictitious claims that have been made.  I challenge either of these individuals to provide verification and/or supporting documentation of the very serious accusations they are making.  I can assure you that verification of these claims is not possible, since they are in fact fabricated.

I appreciate this forum and thanks to everyone who made positive comments about Homes Discovered which is what this was supposed to be all about.  I'm sorry that two posters chose to make a serious error in judgement and post libelous information about an unrelated company.  I can assure you that the operator of the site does not take the accusations lightly and will be pursuing proper recourse.

Our team has been with Homes Discovered since January of 2009.  We have paid for approx 100 leads since then totalling about $3000. Of course all the leads are not for $800K-$2 million homes, but some are. Its a numbers game. If the leads are bad,  HD is very fair and always credits our leads and replaces them with new ones with no hassle. We have only closed 3 so far this year but lets just say the commissions we have made could pay for this lead program for the next 10 yrs.  You have to stay on top of it. Call, email, put these names on auto searches. Many may not be ready to buy for 6 months, but my 6 month leads are coming time to buy now. I have so many that respond and stay in close contact with me bc I am doing my job and staying in touch with them. I have a system and I follow it. After so many attempts over 4 months I stop if i get no response at all, but for the small amount of time it takes to follow up, its certainly been worth it, and Tom Wolf has been very nice and professional. Give HD a chance. Im glad we did.

RE: Damon Pace and Tom Wolf - Oct. 25, 2009

Posted by Realtor seeking justice

I have been searching the internet for a while hoping to find other people who would join me in putting an end to the immoral and shameless methods Damon Pace and Tom Wolf use in feeding off of vulnerable Realtors. Finally I come across this blog. I have a case and a strong one, I just need a couple of Realtors who would like to join me in order to have a stronger case and an attorney who is willing to go full force against those guys. I am willing to pay thousands in order to shut these guys down. Because of them I suffered a great deal. I don't want to discuss any of the details as I am looking to use it in a lawsuit. All the complaints out there don't amount to nothing in comparison to what I had to go through. Don't act like you have nothing to do with it Tom as you are as filthy as Damon is. I spoke to you over the phone and you all have the same sick mentality. They play Mr. nice guy when you are talking to them and laugh at you as soon as you turn your back. My goal from a lawsuit is not to be compensated financially but for people like you to be removed from our society as you do nothing but spread filth. Thanks for the info Bob, I will contact the FBI as soon as I file the law suit. Now, who wants to join me in filling a lawsuit against these guys? I already have a strong case against them and I am willing to pay thousands of dollars towards legal services. I already lost more than 75% of my income this year because of them and it had nothing to do with the market conditions. I have nothing to lose in spending a few thousands of dollars in order to get justice. I need everyone with a legitimate complaint to post their story and a method to contact them. It might take a long time before I get a few people so I will keep checking back on this page. If you are an attorney or know one who is interested in helping please post info. Thanks National Association or Realtors for nothing, they are happy to collect their fees but when asked for help they don't know you.

I wanted to say thank you to some of our clients who posted their positive experiences with our company, Homes Discovered.  In terms of real estate marketing companies, we are becoming one of the "old timers", now entering our 7th year of service.  I think it is a great testament to the way we conduct business and treat our clients.

It's unfortunate that Homes Discovered continues to be addressed in the same conversation with IncredibleAgents, as the two companies have no day to day interaction or involvement with one another.  That said, everyone has a right to post what is on their mind, and I personally give credence to our clients who have posted over the years using their real names vs. anonymous posts by "Bob Jones",  etc. who have never utilized the services of Homes Discovered.

I would be willing and happy to provide countless references anywhere in the country for anyone who may be considering utilizing the services of Homes Discovered.
