Virtual Assistants

I would like to have the oportunity to discuss the use of a virtual assistant. I am an Owner/Broker of my own little one woman show. I compete often with larger offices for listings. Sometimes I win but sometimes I don't. Taking E-Pro has certainly been an asset but I am beginning to see how trying to keep up with everything is tough.
I would love to find someone that can enhance my website with embedding links to my community regarding local information. I am well known in my small rural towns but I need a greater marketing presence to catch more fish.
Any suggestions would be great. I found a conversation on line through real talk or module 1 or 2 but cannot find it agian. any help would be great.

Hi Lea:
There are many ways a virtual assistant can help you become more productive and enhance your visability both through your current website and social networking. I would suggest looking at what you currently do and then what you want to have done and writing it out so that you can start interviewing some VA's. This will make the initial contact with the VA run alot smoother. Most VA's offer a free consultation to prospective clients, myself included.
I hope this helped a bit.

Hello Lee:
Every Realtor has different needs for office support. It helps to have someone who can pick up the slack, so to speak; to do a variety of tasks that you may be too busy to do or programs you are unfamiliar with such as website design, marketing, social networking, search engine optimization, etc.
A Virtual Assistant already has the knowledge and training it takes to support you in a variety of tasks. We don't need training or equipment since we have our own. We even have our own offices and we pay our own taxes. That's a real benefit to you.
When you start your search, you may want to seek out a Certified Real Estate Support Specialist since we have taken classes that include not only real estate support but also ethics training. International VA organizations are a great resource, too. www.REVARoundtable.com is a great group to start with.
Good luck with your search. You'll find that after you've worked with a VA for awhile, you'll wonder how you ever managed without her!
