Expression Web Users

<p> For you converted FrontPage users that took the Expression Web plunge: What features in Expression Web do you love? What features, if anything, from FrontPage do you really miss? </p>

<p> Two great sites for learning Expression Web (and lots of other software too) are Lynda.com and TotalTraining.com. These sites offer both online and CD versions of their video training programs. Lynda.com allows you to preview the first several chapters of the classes for free and then you can join for $25 a month on a month-by-month basis. To my knowledge, Total Training only offers an annual online plan. Both sell DVDs of their courses. </p> <p> Janine Warner is an excellent trainer with Total Training. She has a video out called &quot;From Front Page to Expression Web&quot; that will get you started. She also has several other EW series available that are super. </p> <p> There are multiple Expression Web trainers on Lynda.com. Goodness. . . you can&#39;t buy a good training book for $25 and you can learn a lot in a month. </p> <p> If you&#39;re serious about learning, it&#39;s the best $25 you&#39;ll ever spend. </p>

<p> I found MS Expression Web Step By Step book with lessons part of the scenario to be very informative and an easy read (if you like technical manuals as much as I do). <a href="http://www.expressionwebstepbystep.com/">http://www.expressionwebstepbystep.com/</a> Working with FrontPage before MS Expression came out allowed an easy transition. I am still uploading the website using the FrontPage Server Extensions. </p>

<p> This looks like a great deal for anybody struggling to convert their FrontPage site to Expression Web. But for $22, it just may be worth it. Anybody have any feedback on it? Maybe the same info is readily available on some free tutorials, I don&#39;t know. </p>
