Winter in April - Where is Spring

The Crosslake area got hit with a lot of snow on Saturday and Sunday.  Where is spring?  This is April we should be having rain not a foot of snow.  Ducks on a pond in Crosslake sit on the edge of the melting ice waiting for spring.  I hope spring is just around the corner.
