Bayside and its neighboring Northeast Queens County communities are terrific areas to live and raise a family. You have the
best of all worlds. Living in the suburbs yet only 25 minutes from Manhattan via the Long Island Railroad. My children could
safety walk to Alley Pond Park. Numerous concerts and big band performances were provided free on summer evenings only minutes
by city bus or car at Cunningham Park in nearby Fresh Meadows. With a different 5 minute car ride to the northern part of
Bayside, you could walk or rolloblade along Little Neck Bay and Long Island Sound or fish at the Bayside Marina. Also nearby,
you could take your childen and walk with Park Rangers on a free tour of Fort Totten now open as a New York City park. The
communities of Bayside, Little Neck, Douglaston, and Fresh Meadows are all part of school district 26, consistently year after
year rated the highest performing school district in all of New York City. Why live any where else?
