Will your children be bored with their Christmas holiday vacation? There are many inexpensive, even free family things to do in northeast Queens.
All ages are welcome. Come join the NYC Urban Park Rangers on Saturday, December 29th at 2 p.m. or Sunday, December 30th at 1 p.m. for snowshoeing. Meet at the Fort Totten Ranger Station. Enter park at fort entrance just north of the intersection of 212 Street and Cross Island Parkway, Bayside, North Queens. Learn to walk through the snow in style as they visit the fort's historic battery. Weathering permitting; if no snow, then join them for a fun hike. Snowshoes provided. For additional information, call (718) 352-1769.
