NYC Board of Education Grades Schools in Northeast Queens Best in City |
The New York City Board of Education recently issued report card grades for all of its 1,100+ elementary, junior and senior high schools evaluating multiple facets of these public learning institutions so parents can quickly see both the strengths and weaknesses of their children's particular schools.
Once again, the various public schools located in Northeast Queens which make up school districts 25 and 26 clearly outdistanced the rest of New York City in student reading and math scores, graduation rates, and other equally important criteria.
Of particular special recognition, the schools located in Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck, and Fresh Meadows that are part of school district 26 consistently received the highest possible ratings. Of its 26 elementary and junior/middle schools, sixteen received a grade of A, seven a grade of B, and 3 a grade of C.
School district 25 had 14 schools with a grade of A, 13 with a grade of B and 2 with a C grade.
If you are considering purchasing a home in New York City, look no further than Northeast Queens whose schools consistently receive the highest scores in reading and math year after year.
