The New York Mets will hold its second annual Mets Warm-Up Holiday Coat Drive on Wednesday, December 12th and Thursday, December 13th in an effort to help people less fortunate deal with the cold of winter.

New and gently worn winter coats can be dropped off at the Diamond Club entrance (located between Gates C and D) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Contributors to this drive will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a select home game in April.

All coats will be given to New York Cares, a local non-profit organization associated with over 850 agencies serving the poor and less fortunate throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Since 1989, New York Cares has collected over 1 million coats which were distributed to homeless shelters and other deserving orgsanizations.
