30th Annual Thunderbird American Indian Mid-Summer Pow Wow |
The Queens County Farm Museum will once again host its 30th Annual Thunderbird American Indian Mid-Summer Pow Wow from July 25 through July 27, 2008 on its farm grounds located at 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Floral Park, New York 11004.
This is New York City's oldest and largest Pow Wow featuring three days of intertribal Native American dance competitions. A large selection of quality Native American art, crafts, jewelry and food will be available for sale.
On Friday, July 25th, gates open at 6 p.m. and performances are held between 7 pm and 10 pm; on Saturday, July 26th, performances are held from 12 noon to 5 pm and 7pm to 10 pm; and Sunday, July 27th from 12 noon to 5 pm.
Admission: adults $ 9.00 per day with a weekend pass costing $ 15.00 per person. Children: $ 4.00 age 12 and under with a weekend pass for $ 5.00.
