The first annual Greek-American Performing Arts Festival will take place at Queens Theatre in the Park from Thursday, January 24th through Sunday, January 27th.

Opening night ( 1/24) will feature The Rebetiko Ensemble at 8 p.m.  On Friday, January 25th, "Modernos: Contemporary Greek-American Dance and Spoken Word" also starting at 8 p.m.  Independent Greek-American films will be screened at 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 26th.  Also on Saturday evening, there will be "A Cabaret Evening with Songs Inspired from Maria Callas' Life" starting at 10 p.m.  The festival concludes on Sunday, January 27th at 3 p.m. with "Celebration of Traditional Greek Folk Dance with Kyklos Dance".
