Taste the Great Red Wines of Long Island on May 10th |
Great inexpensive things to do on a Spring Saturday evening just 45 minutes from North East Queens: Plan to attend a wine tasting class in lower Manhattan on May 10, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Astor Center of New York City which is located at 399 Lafayette Street in New York City (corner with East 4th Street) will be offering a very special class entitled, "Red Wines of Long Island: Celebrating a Diversity of Styles". This class is led by a gifted German winemaker, Roman Roth, who is associated with the Wolffer Estate in Sagaponack, Eastern Long Island.
Long Island wines now grace the tables of our country's finest restaurants. Don't miss this rare opportunity to sample great wines of Long Island under the direction of a master winemaker.
Cost of this two hour class is $ 45 per person. For further information, call the Astor Center at (212) 674-7501.
