Great inexpensive, family entertainment comes to North Queens on Sunday, May 18, 2008 when the Queens County Farm Museum presents "Farm Fest" from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Celebrate the return of spring with a visit to this working historical farm which dates back to 1697. The Queens County Farm Museum includes a landmark farmhouse, barns, greenhouse and a working farm having planting fields, livestock, orchard, vineyard along with a petting zoo.
On Sunday, May 18th, come watch a sheep shearing demonstration, learn about Dutch crafts, view cultural exhibits, and be able to purchase various spring plants. Hayrides and pony rides will be available too.
