The Queens County Farm Museum is a working historical farm dating from 1697 and includes a landmark farmhouse, barns, greenhouses, livestock, orchard and vineyard. Various educational and family-centered events are held throughout the year.
On Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Queens County Farm Museum will hold its annual Farm Fest . Bring the kids and celebrate the return of spring with sheep shearing demonstrations, crafts and cultural events. When was the last time you enjoy a hayride especially within the boundaries of New York City? Your kids can also enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo. Admission is only $ 3.00 per person.
