Support "Operation:Birthday Cake" and Bring a Smile to Our Troops Overseas

Nov. 18, 2007
Categorized in: Inspirational Messages

The Make-A-Wish Foundation has been granting wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses since 1980. Now through the Foundation's partner, Bake Me A Wish!, people can grant birthday wishes to our troops overseas. Operation:Birthday Cake is a goodwill program launched by Bake Me A Wish! to provide gourmet birthday cakes to soldiers who often miss out on a traditional American birthday party. Through this program, soldiers have a chance to celebrate their birthdays and feel remembered and valued by those at home. For more information about purchasing a cake for a soldier overseas, visit www.bakemeawish.com.

Dear Judy,

If you click on the link at the bottom of thisarticle, this company bake a wish promises to send the cakes ordered out every week.  they seem to have an on-going relationship with the make-a-wish foundation and have been doing this valuable service for quite awhile.  You have to judge for yourself if they are a reputable and honorable company that keeps its promises.  Good luck.

Dear Mary,

this bake-a-wish firm charges around $ 35 for each cake and another $ 25 for shipping.  the cakes go out every week.  They seem to have a strong relationship with make-a-wish foundation.  You also have to judge for yourself if they are a honorable and reputable firm.
