Native American Dance Concert and Pow Wow - January 30 to February 8

The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers will hold their 34th annual Dance Concert and Pow Wow at the Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue, Manhattan, Janary 30th through February 8th.

There will be dances, stories and traditional music from the Iroquois and Native Peoples of the Northwest Coast, the Southwest, the Plains, and the Arctic regions.  Between 35 and 30 dancers will assemble for this event.

After matinee performances, Native American performers will remain in the theater to personally meet children attending and be photographed with them.

Performances are Fridays at 8 p.m.; Saturdays at 2 and 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm.  There is a $ 10 general admission to all evening shows.  Matinee shows cost only $ 1 for children under 12 who are accompanied by ticket-bearing adults.
