Windham is a town rich in history it was settled in 1719 by Scottish immigrants and encompassed by the towns of Derry and Londonderry until 1742, when Governor Benning Wentworth granted their request and the Town of Windham was incorporated.

Windham consists of 27.2 square miles and has a population of 13,000 +/- and is home to the well laid out golf course The Windham Country Club  and the smaller par 3 Applewood Golf Links. 

Windhams location is ideal for the commuter with easy access to I 93 and Route 28 in Salem.  Within an easy drive to many local attractions including Canobie Lake Park, Rockingham Park, Americas  Stonehenge, Searle’s Castle which is a wonderful place to walk through and admire the craftsmanship of early  history and as Nov 2001 operations at the Castle expended to include weddings and receptions.   Windham is a town that embraces you…once you visit you’ll be enchanted.
