Too many profiles to many services, too many links, how do we manage it all: I use Roboform, Plaxo, Linkedin, Realtown, Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo...What do you suggest?

Thanks Jack! Folks, this, Realtown Blogs, is a killer app! You see that when it is rated five stars, it appears at the top of the fornt page!

Try using Hellotxt. I use this to update all of my social network sites. You should also look at configuring your social sites to accept your feed from your blog, YouTube, Flickr, etc.

Good luck!

Yes exactly this can be done also from Plaxo, Myspace, Facebook, and right here, this killer app even has an on-demand pinger - but wouldn't it be nice if somebody made a profile (it really should be open ID) that could manage and update the other profiles, kinda liike Plaxo does for your contacts, and Onlywire does for Bookmarks, and there is one that does it for up-to 20 video sharing accounts..wouldn't that be a help? Thye all use the same Ajax stuff, seems like it should be doable.

Here is the new one:

2009 Top 46 Social Media Marketing Sites You Need To Know:

On May 29th, 2007 I published this article about 15 Top Social Media Marketing Resources which was picked up by Web-Pro news and got a lot of traffic and buzz: that was right after I reserved socialmediasystems.com (it was available then for under 9 dollars!) and formed Social Media Systems LLC in March of 2006.

Now, as is usually the case with me, there are a million copy cats out there claiming to be experts in 'social media marketing', as traditional SEO becomes outdated (related article: see The slow death of SEO).

You cannot get anything short with the words social media in it now, and a whole industry is emerging replacing traditional SEO (search engine optimization).

Now, since things have changed so much, it is time to update the list::
