Hi fellow Copper Stock'ers...
For those of you who might be a little confused, "Copper Stock" is a group that is on RealTown.com. RealTown is a "social networking" site, kind of like My Space..., except it is designed for Boomers and Civics... for those who don't know those are, you'll find out soon enough ;-) ...
Some of us got confused when the Copper Stock group showed up in your eMail box with the RealTown logo... Don't let it confuse you..., just enjoy...
With this Group, we can easily share our thoughts and ideas with the push of a button.
Logging on is required (lust like Yahoo or Google or, or) and your log-on info was sent to you, but, if you need it again you can get them sent to you (on the log-on page) or you can write (or call me ;-) ...
When replying, you have 3 choices...
...a "Private Message" which will go only t the person who made the posting you are replying to...
..."Quote" which will bring all (or part) of the previous post into your reply or
..."Reply" which is what I did here...
You also have a few other options (which can be accessed from the Copper Rock home page which are
...Create New Discussion" (self explanatory) or
...You can view the Group's members or
...You can Invite members
...and you can view and change your subscription.
Also, once you get the hang of it you can create groups for your other clubs or social (or work) groups of people (or machines ;-) ...
Well... let's get social...
I will create a new thread (discussion) soon about the web site we put up on the UnitedStatesOfAmerica.com that has historic memoirs from Copper Stock I (and II)..
