The Gene Molloy Real Estate Blog

Feb. 24, 2006 - Let's Visit Ohio

If the State of Ohio was a dart board and you wanted to throw a bulls eye you would have to aim at Columbus. If you don't believe me just look at a map. I have never physically been to Columbus, Ohio, however , through the miracle of the internet I have been able to visit Columbus on a regular basis and find out what's happening there. I know what is the best that Columbus and the surrounding area has to offer. That's because I have a "friend in the business" there, Maureen McCabe. She has a similar wit and wisdom to my own, probably attributable to our celtic ancestry. If you were ever thinking of moving to central Ohio she would be a fine REALTORŪ to have looking out for you. Or maybe you are going to visit the area and need to know what's good in Columbus. Either way you should check out the Columbus Best Blog. Should you feel the need to contact her, tell her Gene sent you.

Feb. 24, 2006 - Thank you

I am flattered. I will have to point out this wonderful entry to my RE friends... especially those who have pointed out of some of Gene's online wit to me. Some goes way over my head. We have a Gene Molloy fan club... we carefully read the disclaimers and acronyms Gene shares with real estate professionals across the US for wit and wisdom.

I enjoy Genes's blog for that same wit and wisdom.

Some bloggers write real estate blogs like a "how to manual." Those leave me cold. I don't read how to manuals why would I read a blog that says... "first you do this, blah, blah, blah." Then follow up with "blah, blah, blah" ? I guess there must be readers who enjoy a straight forward 'how to manual" of a blog. There's a blog (or 12) for everyone.

A Milesian Druid cursed me when I was first blogging. I seem to have overcome the curse (early in my blog you can see what happened.. cRazy fOnts.

Again thanks,

Maureen

Mar. 17, 2006 - I demand a Chicago Area St. Patrick's Day Update

Posted by Maureen McCabe
Gene,

Did the river in Chicago flow green on March 17, 2006? Was the beer flowing in Chicago area bars March 17, 2006? Inquiring minds in a less Irish part of the midwest need to know. Does celebration of St. Patricks Day make out all the way out in to the suburbs there? We have lots of Irish events going on today in Columbus and Dublin Ohio will celebrate all St. Patrick's Day all weekend but we are no Chicago..... ;-)
