From what I am reading the outlook for the economy appears to be improving gradually. Mortgage rates today are around 4.75%! Very nice! The economy seems to be experiencing moderate growth with low inflation so far. Housing starts also moved a bit higher. It appears there is a 2% growth since last November. The first time tax credit is still available but not for much longer unless they change the law.

I guess we knew this would happen but maybe not quite this quickly. Looks like rates are now around 5.25 %. I few years ago we would have thought this was a wonderful interest rate and it still is. Now is a great time to buy. Check and see what you need to do to qualify for a loan and use the first time home owner tax credit to give you a boost!

It is such a good time to buy with interest rates still around 4.875%. Every first time home buyer that qualifies for a loan should be taking advantage of the CHFA “JumpStart” Tax Credit Program for down payment or closing costs. You can repay this 0% Second Mortgage Loan when you get your tax credit refund and build instant equity into your home. I believe this offer is for this year only so act now!

Interest rates are still around 4.65 % which is great and all buyers should be taking advantage of this low interest rate. House values have fallen in the last year so more folk should be able to qualify for homeownership. Even though our economy grew by 1.1 percent all of last year this year could be better. Last month home sales increased which is encouraging for all of us.

Interest rates are amazing right now. From what I am reading 30 year conventional interest rate is 4.875%. Conventional 15 year loan is 4.625%. 30 year FHA/VA is 5%. What great interest rates. If you are interested in purchasing a home or refinancing your home now is the time to act.
