For those of you that own either a Treo 680,700p, 755 or Centro here's a hidden trick. Hold down your house button, sometimes called the home key and keep it held down. It opens up a drop down screen with the last 8 programs you opened.

Then using your thumb on the five way navigator, scroll up and down to select the program you want to go to and smash the center button.

If your like me you live in four or five programs and this way you can access them quickly!

Hi, Dick!

I am so overwhelmed! There is so much information on this chat that I find myself saving a lot of emails to refer to at a later time. Have you thought about teaching a Treo course online or putting this info on a disc? How different are the individual Treo's? For example, is the 650 too different from the 755 to allow you to teach one class or have one disc?

I know there is much more I can and should be doing with my Treo but I am too busy to stop and play with it! I am also afraid to change anything for fear of crashing it!

Let me know and I will sign up or purchase the disc!

Kat,

This group has been a success thanks to the 100 plus people that have joined and shared either tips or asked questions. I could not be happier!

I have on my website www.DickBetts.com a DVD for all Palm OS devices. In my classes I do cover the 650/680/700p/755/Centro plus any handheld with Palm OS.

The DVD sells for $25 plus $5 S&H and is better then an online class because you can pause, rewind or cover material as many times as needed.

For my Windows friends not to worry, we will be rolling out the Windows DVD in the near future.

I must really be a newby, which is the house button? Is it the "OK" button? That does drop down a list that a techy told me to clear periodically to speed up my Treo.

Iris,

Welcome aboard and thanks for jumping right in! So before we go to far what model Smartphone do you have? From your comment on my blog I am thinking it might be a Windows OS Treo 750. Let me know!

700Wx with windows mobile 5.0. I have had it since June 2007 and still have so much to learn to make the most of the features. Thank you for the great tips. I have already put my supra key as a speed button on the side button on the phone. )))

Iris,

I thought you might be Windows, so the above tip won't work. I am about ready to have a 6 or 8 page handout about Windows ready and if you like I can email it to you next week!

Iris ~ How did you save the Supra as a speed key on the side? or is that only an option on your phone?

I have a Palm 700. Love it, but need help with the email.
