John,

You don't need both, actually you need just one! Last week I had an agent hire me to help correct 12 years of contact management lack of management. He had 3 different contact management systems plus a Smartphone that didn't talk to any of the 3. We put him into Outlook and he now has everything talking to each other. For what he was using his contact management system to achieve it was the perfect fit.

That last statement in bold covers me when folks want to pounce on me about TP.

I have the BB Bold, just released, wow............TP is very fast, they said I was one of the first to try TP, no test have been done. Excellent product. I had the treo 650, that was nice, but the BB is great because of TP and being able to respond to the e-mails and surf the web.

BB is also releasing a BB Thunder just like the Iphone

Have you looked into Outlook Connector; I use it and it is excellent.

Aloha John,

I have Outlook, TP 8i and Outlook connector, ideally TP8i works just fine but I prefer the Outlook email format. Connector allows you to use the Outlook format and link your emails to your clients, there new upgrade allows you to connect the email to several contacts, really cool. Saving files to my desk top makes is easier to copy files to CD/DVD at the end of a listing or escrow. My recommendation would be to stay with TP8i or one contact management system that does everything you need it to do including email. I am trying to accomplish that myself but still have contacts in both places or either, not good. Anyhow one more thing is remember you will probably not use all the features of any CRM I don't care whose it is. My philosogy is "it is better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it" If all this is overwhelming check out www.garydavidhall.com, he is the CRM guru. Good luck!

Good Morning Susan, (from the Sunshine State)

I also end up with contacts in both places, but upon occasion I save those in Outlook to a CSV file and import them into TP 8i. I reaaly like the new feature where 8i asks if you want to create the contact while directly working in Outlook.
