Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I have enjoyed a 755p. However now that Verizon has bought out 80% of Alltel, I am having to change to a Verizon product. (My 755p has been recently hard re-set & the email will not link.) Do you have any suggestions on which phone to use with Verizon or any suggestions on specific features that I should make sure I have? Again, thank you for you time & insight.

*** l also had the 755P and I just purchased the new Blackberry Tour and while it has a learning curve (don't they all!) I'm settling in to it. Wish it had the infrared but I've used the "fob" and it works fine. I've had no issues (knock wood) with the Blackberry. Syncing is different and actually seems easier (I use Agent Office) and so far no issues.
Verizon told me that Blackberry is more stable and so far, I do believe that.

Good Luck with your selection. Judy

BB user for past 5 years, and currently using BB 8830 and thinking to upgrade to either BB Bold or BB Tour! Any suggestions?

Also, I have been comparing the BB vs. iPhone 3GS! We all know the future of RE is moving toward Small Screens, so I want to be Smart Phone Savvy to be able to my work virtually from anywhere and anytime!

Blackberry Enhanced Realtor

Freedom is what I've found with the BB. I am up to the minute with all emails, messages, web, text, pictures, music it's all here. I'm an iPhone X. It just couldn't give me the functionality I needed. BB's the way to go.

I have the Curve and really like it. I tried out different Blackberry phones while at the Verizon store and liked the Curve the best - for what I was looking for, but maybe not for others.

Go to www.blackberry.com and find the Forums. They have forums for general questions and then for each specific phone.

I think the new Treo is a good phone. It can manage more apps than the curve.

Does anyone know how to put the e-mail and phone functions of the Blackberry Curve on vacation mode?? Then how to turn it off after vacation?? Thanks.

I'm new to the BB Tour and so far like it. I had the older BB for about 4 years (and used a separate phone.). Now I'm using the Tour for phone and email together. There are a few give-ups. Little things, but still--

-If you have a phone number that is in letters ("dial 1-800-MATTRES" you can't figure out what numbers (on the phone keypad) match to the letters.

-The Notepad section on the old blackberry was a great place to keep passwords, etc. It isn't available on the Tour (at least I haven't found it yet)

-The contacts section keeps phone and email, but not addresses. (at least I haven't figured out how yet)

But the screens are clear, the search function great, the colors are good, and once you get used to the keypad (* and # are in different places than on a phone) and you get used to the small keys, it's fine.
